wen Hamilton did that move he definitely gained time, this put him in a position to overtake Kimi, if he hadn't of cut the grass and overtook kimi, maybe kimi wouldn't of been pressured into a mistake.
wen kimi crashed i was shattered, i had given up on F1. than i was saying to dad that he only won coz he cheated past kimi, as the race is always delayed here i always check the internet to see if Hamilton got disqualified. so in the space of 2 minutes i was in love with F1 again .
Just remember McLaren fans, the FIA could of easily disqualified McLaren last year but now have lost their patience

Offence: Breach of Article 30.3(a) of the 2008 FIA Formula 1 sporting regulations and Appendix L chapter 4 Article 2 (g) of the International Sporting Code.

Penalty: Drive-through penalty (Article 16.3 (a)), since this is being applied at the end of the race, 25 seconds will be added to the driver’s elapsed race time.

The entire stewards' document on the matter, for anybody interested. Seems that apparently even giving back the place is not good enough.

To quote Sir Alex Ferguson, "Well, that's complete bollocks, isn't it." Hamilton was forced to use the escape road; if he did not, he would have crashed into Raikkonen. Had he done that, he would have been penalised for causing an avoidable collision. As things were, Hamilton had gained an advantage, but it gave back Raikkonen first place and pulled off a great move to reclaim first place again at La Source. What about whenever Michael Schumacher pulled off similar maneuvers several times? Why did the FIA not think to apply this ruling back then?

Have just got back from work, was looking forward to watching the race . . . . now I'm not going to bother. A drive through AFTER the race has ended, this surely can't be possible.

I have now been turned to the theory that the FIA are engineering the championship to make it down to the last race again. Is utter sh-ite!

Something dodgy happened to Lewis in the last three races and I have a strong suspicion that they didn't penalise the drivers on condition that they forfeited the Drivers Championship.

Money again - Ecclestone would have known that had they disqualified the Mclaren drivers the British public would have turned off in their droves.

If mclaren turn away from the sport its pretty much finished. e only think that keeps it going is the rivalry for the title and no one willwatch a ferrari white wash every year.

I agree to the point that if F1 loose's McLaren it will not be the same, which is HIGHLY doubtful, but the sport will carry on without them.

Come on - If ferrari left the sport it woud be the same thing. If you keep getting pooed on like Mcclaren do here comes a point where the money men say enough is enough. You put money in to win. If you keep getting corrupt decisions which mean it really damages your winning chances you simply dont feel like puting money in. Not saying they will do it but there has been a lot of rumors about teams leaving and starting their own org.

Support for those of you who want to give feedback to the Association and not follow the sport again - if rules are to be upheld they should be at a consistent magnatude!

To support this, you see, to me the objections within the sport are opportunist - this has to be identified within the regulations and must be controlled, by consistency and fairness throughout.

From my perception, it seems that an example of safety (European Grand Prix pit investigation) over race advantage (this investigation) seems the total favour and injustice!

We MUST show that there is no sport without spectators!

This is true Ron Dennis is pouring a lot of money to compete in the farce called F1and is constantly getting screwed over. If enough teams agree they should go and start their own series. I will more than gladly support it

Well he is a Ferrari Driver!!Today I watched Lewis Hamilton win the Belgian Grand Prix with a superb display of driving. I've just heard that due to an incident with Raikonnen,which I watched with millions of other people and I personally could see nowt wrong with it they are racing after all aren't they, I digress, Lewis has been stripped of his win. Well he isn't a Ferrari Driver!!The whole thing stinks.

I can not believe the FIA stewards have made this decision, Hamilton clearly slowed down after cutting the last corner therefore letting kimi re-take him. We might aswell call this championship the ferrari championship from now because its clear some dodgy dealings have been going on between ferrari and the FIA. No, they couldn't, because then it would show inconsistency. It would have been the first penalty handed out this season in Formula 1 for an unsafe release, but it was not the first unsafe release of the season, therefore it would be unfair to all of the others who may have lost out or been put at risk by those previous incidents. Of course, if you want to add more inconsistency to the sport, then by all means send a letter to the FIA asking them to do so. I'm sure it would make it much better for the rest of us.

Seeing as the majority of F1 fans are most probably bind Ferrari lambs I doubt it. Ferrari are the most well known brand in the sport and as long as they are happy then i suppose the FIA are
