Nah there is a less than minimal risk here. I find the whole thing bloody amazing and have actually read into this type of physics quite a lot . . . although I think this is probably the wrong forum to discuss that

the Earth will not be sucked into a man made black hole i dont think they will have enough energy produced to melt the space time continuum either! Think of the force at work in black holes in space, we are talking stars that have collapsed!
But so what if it does end the world? whats the difference between a slow man made decay and a massive catastrophic man made incident that ends the world?

Clicky (Disclaimer: I don't know if this theory was ever disproven beacuse I haven't read NS properly for an absolute age). Assuming that the theory is correct, I don't think CERN's activites will mean the end of the world - and personally, I'm not all that worried

Na neither am I, I mean I could just go outside and be hit by a bus. You can't predict these things.
