Yes, IFC is good, Sundance Channel has some as well. Starz Cinema often shows some foreign and/or independent movies too, usually late at night. E.g., right now, Starz Cinema shows the Spanish comedy 'Volver' with Penelope Cruz and Carmen Maura (on again on Starz Cinema West in a couple hours). And there's always downloads from the internet
Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point.
I watch a lot of movies. But all this stuff listed, the Hollywood stuff is just my daily basic fare - the desserts are always those independent and most of all the so called foreign movies (I don't count the many great Australian and British movies in this category, but maybe I should - sometimes there cockney English sounds really foreign to me). Favorite origins of movies are France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Japan and China (Gong Li anybody?). The Czech used to have a pretty decent film industry before the wall fell - dunno what the status is these days.
I saw this great independant movie called Unknown, you should see it. Can you list a few good independant, and foreign films because I love seeing good movies. The only place I see indepenant movies is on this channel called IFC.
