I love movies, and I was just wondering what movies other people like, so we should share what movies we like. I've seen alot of movies, but not all of them, so here are just a few of my favorites.

This movie is soo good. Its based on a true story about a young man, Chris McCandless. Some will think he is an idiot, self centered person and some think he is great. I personally admire him because he did what he wanted to do, and not live a life society says you're supposed to live. I recommend you read the book which is outstanding before you watch the movie.

This movie really touches your heart. It shows how racist people can be, and it consists of stories of different ethnicities living in L.A. county. All the stories intervene with each other in some way, and this is a must see film. If you've never seen this movie, I highly recommend it.

This movie is excellent. Its about a group of American soldiers fighting in WWII who have to find and save one man, Private Ryan, so that he can return home to his mother because his 3 other brothers were KIA. This an excellent movie, and I'm a big fan of Spielberg movies.

I'm gonna say The Bourne trilogy is excellent. My favorite Bourne Movie is the ver last one, The Bourne Ultimatum

I watched "Into the Wild" in English last week.

Not a fan usually of these kind of movies, I really enjoyed the journey that he had, very sad for the Old man and it was sad at the end when you see a real photograph of Chris in Alaska which was undeveloped in his Camera..

I could talk about this for quite a while, but I won't ruin it for you if you don't know the story already.

Other Films:

Shaun of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
Kart Racer (awful film but you gotta love it :D)
Rush Hour

I heard that 'Into The Wild' was a good movie but I have not seen it yet.
My alltime favorites are all of the Matrix movies, all of the Bourne movies, all of the Ocean's movies with G.Clooney oh and I am a big fan of Kevin Costner movies. I'm forgetting alot I know but they will come to me.

I like movies when that make you think, and have a meaning. Have you guys seen The Happening? I like suspense movies like that.

Speed is an excellent movie, too bad the second one was horrible.

A horrible movie with great race scenes is Steve McQueen's Le Mans.

I watch a lot of movies. But all this stuff listed, the Hollywood stuff is just my daily basic fare - the desserts are always those independent and most of all the so called foreign movies (I don't count the many great Australian and British movies in this category, but maybe I should - sometimes there cockney English sounds really foreign to me  ). Favorite origins of movies are France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Japan and China (Gong Li anybody?). The Czech used to have a pretty decent film industry before the wall fell - dunno what the status is these days.

I saw this great independant movie called Unknown, you should see it. Can you list a few good independant, and foreign films because I love seeing good movies. The only place I see indepenant movies is on this channel called IFC.

The first 2 American Pie's were great, and the rest were :banghead:

I'd like to make a correction. The independant movie I recommended is called Unkown with the actor Barry Pepper. I'm saying this so you dont get it confused with the movieThe Unkown.
