Yeah there are ads, but they have this thing called side to side which they have the race in one scree on the left and the ads on the right, and thats the commercial break. And as soon as I typed this, Danica Patrick just crashed with Ryan Briscoe in the pits. I think this indy is boring, but the crowd sure is big!!

Yeah I feel bad for Kanaan, especially for Sarah too she started crying when she was being interviewed. I really didnt like that walk Danica did down the pitlane trying to make a scene out of that incident, but then again I wasnt surprised because she is a drama-queen. I dont know why people like her, I find her an annoyance.

Another note to add about Chip Ganassi the man. Did anyone else hear that Wayne Taylor's Daytona Prototype trailer/hualer burnt to the ground he lost everything ! Yet good old Chip to the rescue and he supplie's Wayne with car's, computer's, spare's etc etc basically a new team setup so he would be able to race the next event.

Interesting story about the kinda of person Chip Ganassi is. Year's ago he was doing some last minute, Christmas Eve, shopping and left his key's in his MB along with alot of cash. Well it got stolen so Chip decided to call the car's cellphone and he convinced the thief to meet him so he could atleast get his wallet back and let the thief take his car and gave him $500 for his family's Christmas which was why the thief stole his car, he did not have any money to buy his family Christmas gift's!

Yeah I heard about that after they left Laguna Seca. I was at that race and it was exciting!

thought id start a thread for the lead up to the Indy 500 race, which with the unification of the open wheel series shall make it a big race.

went to watch the 2nd day of qualifying after F1 last night but unfortunately it was a rained out day.

some of the grid has already been filled with Scott Dixon on pole

on a side note, does anyone(racehcick ) think JPM should ditch his Taxi racing and come to open wheel racing again now the IRL is unified? i know he has been there before but cmon JPM open wheelers are where real racers are at

Just looked on here cos I hadnt seen the result and i saw this!!
Was hoping Danica would do it Not got coverage of the race where i| am. Was it any good? Did you hear about Danica's last nearly 5oo win? When she was leading for most of it and ended up 4th:roll: They told her to turn her engine down to save fuel and she finished 4th. She found out recently that there was 2and a half (I think)litres of fuel left!! She wasnt happy. So I wished she'd win. And in answer to the JPM bit, I'd Love!!! him to go back to proper racing cars!!!!! He's wasted!!

Im sorry I dont wanna offend, but I gave it ago, i've never liked the IRL prefer Champ Car and circuit racing. It just doesnt work for me. For one the Dallara cars arent nice on the eye.

I used to watch CART a lot before the split (Its where i first saw Wonderboy Juan ) but once it split I lost interest. Not sure it will ever be as good again but wud have liked to see the first female winner.
