thought id start a thread for the lead up to the Indy 500 race, which with the unification of the open wheel series shall make it a big race.

went to watch the 2nd day of qualifying after F1 last night but unfortunately it was a rained out day.

some of the grid has already been filled with Scott Dixon on pole

on a side note, does anyone(racehcick  ) think JPM should ditch his Taxi racing and come to open wheel racing again now the IRL is unified? i know he has been there before but cmon JPM open wheelers are where real racers are at

I'm looking forward to the indy 500. The last time I watched it, was 02. But now since the series has been unified I vowed that I would watch it just to support the new series, so hopefully one day open-wheel racing in America will return to what it once was. I will be supporting the Champ Car teams of course

Shark fishing

Totally catch and release bud we actually tag the shark's and send in the information for research and studie's. We, the club I'm in, are totally based on fishing conservation and ethic's and never keep or harm a shark. We revive them properly and with a hearty salute send them back home.

I have been a shark fanatic since I was 10yr's old when I saw JAWS 10 time's in one week  !

thats cool tex i have also been a shark fanatic since i was about 9 my aunty gave me a great book on sharks called Shark a photographers story by Jeremy Stafford-Deitsch

thing with Jaws is the actual shark footage for that movie was shot off South Australia's coast not far from Adelaide, we have to live with the Great White in the back of our minds whenever we go out to sea, even though attacks are extremely rare

5:30pm on Sky Sports 3, yeah should be worth watching, I caught the end of last year's Indy 500 when Franchitti won it.
