Don't know is anyone's made this point in this thread yet, but if James Allen's analysis was any good he would not have compared Hamilton's drive to Senna, but to Schumacher instead. It was much more of a Schumacher-style performance - driving fast at the right time to execute the pit strategy - but that didn't fit the narrative.

Oh please dont compare him to Schumacher!! i know what you mean about that blindingly fast middle stint.....but i dont want him to be a Schumacher!!

And Hammy's strategy came to the situation by luck. Luck from him having an off early on, which made the team change the pit stops, and the weather changes, by pure chance, fell straight into the hands of his tires. That's how he won the race. Many driver drove way better than Hammy on Sunday. In fact, I'd say Sutil is every but as good as Hammy. It's all the luck of getting in a top car.

Sutil is rated highly by Hamilton and is another one of his buddies. After their debuts in Melbourne last year they went off on a tour of Australia together.

So to save you guys the bother I have constructed "EwmanM's Verdict of James Allen's Monaco GP Verdict" where I will pick out and discuss the key points of this article.

More than a bit Allen. Without the safety car, Lewis wouldnt have made up the time he lost smacking that barrier.

No, I really don't think Hamilton would do that. Not at all, cause he'd throw a maddy and complain to the British Media and start another witchhunt. Lewis drove well but had alot of luck, he could have been out immediatly with that accident of his, he didnt run off and hide like Senna did. IF any other driver had won that race, they would have been "lucky" to James Allen or drove well.

To be honest, I think you're all silly to dislike a man because there's a media hype built up around him. You should take your frustration out on the media and not the one that they are making such fuss about.

Absolutely agree. Its JA, and the media in general, that is the problem not LH. I think that LH is a great driver, and will go down in history as such, and he is also a fine ambassador for the sport. (which is more than you can say for Moseley!)

I nearly watched the race with the mute on!! ITV are so biased to LH its sickening (like they are to man U And Arsenal in the football). There are 19 other drivers!! I cant wait till its back on the BBC!
