Nobody's saying he is. They are just commenting on that aspect of the race yesterday. Schumacher's modus operandi might not be popular with many people, but his tactical savvy and risk craft is brilliant - and that's how Hamilton and McLaren won the race yesterday.
Ayrton Senna: WDC 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991
McLaren: WCC 1974, 1984, 1985, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1998, 1999, 2007
McLaren: WDC 1974, 1976, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1998, 1999, 2008
Don't know is anyone's made this point in this thread yet, but if James Allen's analysis was any good he would not have compared Hamilton's drive to Senna, but to Schumacher instead. It was much more of a Schumacher-style performance - driving fast at the right time to execute the pit strategy - but that didn't fit the narrative.
Oh please dont compare him to Schumacher!! i know what you mean about that blindingly fast middle stint.....but i dont want him to be a Schumacher!!
