On his second stint he pulled out 40 seconds on the others thats not the one stop he needed but almost 2 stops. Pretty impressive id say given the conditions.
That was mostly because Ferrari/FM switched to a one stop strategy (in anticipation of the forecast rain that didn't come), so they filled his tank to the rim and he was heavy and slow. Under regular circumstances FM was at least as fast as LH, so there's hope for Canada
Lewis was also fuelled heavy for the second stint,they filled him after he hit the wall and thats when he was really pushing. I think its hard to compare relative speed in such a mixed up race. Filipe drove well though specially as its a track he doesnt like. who gows well at Canada, I cant remember?
I witnessed LH's first ever F1 victory in Montreal last year.
