Cricket used to be the byword for fair play, but as Australia have just proved , following in the footsteps of the Indians and ourselves, those days are long gone. After 'Qualifying' , with no obvious reason, Vettel confidently predicted that Mercedes were celebrating , but it would be 'Ferrari's turn tomorrow.' It was further known that Ferrari were banking on a safety car at some stage. is it not possible they had formulated a way to make it happen ,if it hadn't by a certain point? It's interesting to note that Vettel was poised and ready when it did , and the tem responsible for the Safety Car intervention is actually Ferrari in everything but name -engine, running gear, even the body was designed by ex-Ferrari aerodynamicist Ben Agathangelou. When Haas Technical Chief Gunther Steiner was asked about the apparent ineptitude of his mechanics , he claimed they did do tyre changing rehearsals , but there was a problem of constantly changing personnel, but he was never pressed on why tis was ,or where they came from.
