That's terrible, dinner by candlelight and having to find something to do and ways to keep warm
Unless the heating's gas, but you could always shut that off and pretend it's electric.

No gas in the Alps except bottled...which fortunately runs the hob, everything else electric. Except a very efficient wood burning fire. So we were warm. And in the absence of gadgets played all sorts of silly games.
Got a 3D telly, table's a bit low though and getting some of crosstalk unless i sit down low so need to find a way to raise it up, other than that it looks great.

Does it upconvert from 2D to 3D like my trusted LG?
No point me getting a 3D TV, it wouldn't work for me, I have very little vision in my left eye.
