It's tiresome reading how everything at McLaren is Button's "fault",
when, in fact, he's only one piece of the puzzle called "TEAM"!!
As usual you dont have any clue about what you post, you are not agreeing with MOA - you are actually agreeing that its the team to blame, well that team has been sacked except Jenson - therefore you have ignorantly contradicted yourself and are suggesting Jensons team, who have been sacked are at fault - thereby agreeing that Jensons humiliation is payback for the failure.

I think they just don't understand that words carry meanings outside their fantasy world where anything goes. I mean how can Ron be micro managed at a quarterly board meeting? Micro managing is the real world is Ron standing at Ericks back telling him how to do, a board decision made by members of which Ron is the chairman is some how the board standing at his shoulder?
Maybe he meant macro manage but that wouldn't be accurate either, maybe he just meant to put Ron down and got confused

Cooking, boards micromanage. And they don't do it by standing over your shoulder. Getting involved in the decision making that they have hired the executive to make or requiring frequent reports and audits scrutinizing the accounting.
Usually the reason for not letting your executive make decisions and increasing oversight is lack of confidence.

get in the habit of educating yourself before offering opinions - it will serve you well for adult life and when you get a job etc, dont speak if you dont know what you are talking about, credibility is easily lost and terribly hard to regain
the thing is that if you were to take care and learn before you speak, its not just for the moment, it enriches you as it could come in handy in future (assuming you have a memory that works)
Why dont you go and find out what rights a CEO who is a 25% owner with voting rights and mandated voting share veto as well as being the only exec on the board

One thing for certain is everyone is talking about McLaren again, and talking about them as a great team that is making the moves and calling the shots. All the build up, tension, a press meeting in it sent out to selected media, no leaks or any divergence or weakness from the 'doing the best for the team' line. All the will they or won't they- it's pure Ron, he is always up to something that is talked about.
It's the old days back, you don't know what's happening but be sure Ron is following a big strategy clinically, apart from the lame Brit media blitz for keeping Button, no one really cares or would let it affect their regard for the team
Ron is a proven winner when it comes to executing strategy - the best on the grid and that includes Frank , Ross or anyone else
Despite the press negativity and a few disgruntled Button fans everyone is enjoying this and there is a real buzz about the team and a sense of purpose or even destiny
F1 needs more strong leaders like Ron
