it's just that Alonso is that great that no one can keep up.

I heard a rumour that a rookie in his first year in F1 beat him fair and square :hehe:

This is a new Ferrari. But I'm not sure I like it. I usually love Ferrari road cars, but when I first looked at this one I wasn't sure which was the front and which was the back. Nothing like as pretty as that McLaren I posted in the Porsche thread.

:thud: it costs 2.1 million!!!!! Pounds!!!!!!

We are assuming that Ferrari are not going to be running a 3rd car for Alonso next year

That arse ugly ferrari looks like the rear end of a Porsche 911 in an entry for a high school redesign project for kids with attention disorders

Is it not adding to their green credentials by upcycling?

What about their reusing credentials, as it would seem that car has seen more than one owner?

I didnt know where to put this, or if its been highlighted elsewhere but.....

Audi has confirmed the signing of Stefano Domenicali, the former team principal of Scuderia Ferrari. He will start working for the company on 1 November.

The news was out for more than a week already, but no confirmation of the company came until today. A spokesman of the Volkswagen owned marque admitted to DPA that the Italian would being work at Ingolstadt, the company's headquarters in Germany.

Domenicali is set to work in the area of service and mobility, but recent rumours of Audi's entry into Formula One also involve a possible move for the Italian to the company's motorsport section. Although denied by Audi, AutoWeek reported last week that it heard from 'insiders' that Domenicali's new role was only going to be temporary until the company's official confirmation of its rumoured F1 challenge for 2016.

Domenicali resigned from Ferrari in April this year, unable to turn the team around after years without a World Championship title.

Thats an actual car, and not just a concept car?

It could make sense, Porsche continues where Audi left for VW in LMP, and Audi continue to build on their lower key sports brand by moving into F1 and using the LMP hybrid platform as a rolling test bed that outflanks the F1 testing rules and development ban

and AUDI gets a chance for payback of Mercs ownership of the smug F1 advert space. If thats the case BMW will be forced to join as well, because if Merc and Audi are 1 and 2 in F1 they would do some real damage to BMW on the road cars, not to mention the huge loss of face were Honda to also do well and start taking the pee in the advert war. ferrari -, no one really cared about, even if they were winning as they sell the same amount of cars a year these big boys do in a matter of days

http://writenomore.com/the-3-epic-world-wars-between-automobile-brands/

Lets face it Merc completely outflanked the rest by dominating F1
