Some of the youtube comments are a little silly, yes Ron shouldn't of really said that but I am sure he is not the only one who notices Kubica's slightly bigger nose, but hey we all have our 'imperfections'

I'd definately say it's a joke, you've got to have a laugh now and again. Ron is merely demonstrating paddock banter or humour that you don't see much of now days, sort of similar to Wurz saying to ITV's Ted Kravitz last year that he thought Heidfeld should shave his beard.

It's different if drivers do it among themselves. Here it was RD, a team principal (of another team mind you), a person with considerable power and influence. It was unprofessional to the extreme. How about your boss going to your local TV station and singling you out for having a limp or something and making fun of you?
