This is my very own polenta with lamb shank with a red wine sauce

My mom never made polenta! I was introduced to it when I was in my 20s;
but, have only had it with a tomatoe sauce made with sausages and lots of
Parmeggiano or grilled after it has "hardened/solidified"!

I know it's "only" cornmeal; but, it's a great tradition to have learnt about!!

I considered myself lucky because Mom ( Norm"s Mom ) taught me lots of Italian dishes, it is not quite perfect but I am getting in there the closest I could. What did you have for your dinner?

Made a veal tenderloin with a fresh tomatoe/garlic/red onion "sauce",
basmati rice, roasted vegetables and a baby romaine salad.
