After the practice sessions and the News conference in Barcelona, seems that many of the recently debated topics here in the Forum are being sorted out. Such as the deal with the tyre warmers, the Alonso to Ferrari talking, Barrichelo etc etc. To me it was a nice press conference, and why not bring back Irvine to subsitute-talk for Kimi??
on track... here's what i can see:
1. Ferrari seem to have improved. Seems like the hole in the front is better than they want to admit (maybe to keep Mclaren from spying
) Looking strong on both days (let's assume Qualy and Race set-ups). But regardless, the fears with Massa still remain.... will he be able to keep the car from spinning??!!
2. Mclaren seem to be walking backwards (at least from Australia form). One day they looked good enough to be up there, then the other (possibly on Race set-up) looking kinda frustrating from both the set-up and reliability point of view.... Now, could it be that they are missing an experienced driver or is 07's rock-solid reliability gone?
3. Toyota, BMW and Williams seem neutral... let's say no idea what their true pace is, but unless they deliver then maybe Renault could break the line-up.
4. Force India are showing encouraging form! WTF??!!
Looking forward to Sat/Sun to see what they are able to show
5. Renault seem to have improved as well. Seems like Fernando and Piquet are getting more confortable in the car, and that the upgrades are working. Expectations? too early to say; because Mclaren, BMW and Toyota can certainly be stronger than they have shown....
Sat will be really exciting
