After the practice sessions and the News conference in Barcelona, seems that many of the recently debated topics here in the Forum are being sorted out. Such as the deal with the tyre warmers, the Alonso to Ferrari talking, Barrichelo etc etc. To me it was a nice press conference, and why not bring back Irvine to subsitute-talk for Kimi??

on track... here's what i can see:

1. Ferrari seem to have improved. Seems like the hole in the front is better than they want to admit (maybe to keep Mclaren from spying :D:wink: ) Looking strong on both days (let's assume Qualy and Race set-ups). But regardless, the fears with Massa still remain.... will he be able to keep the car from spinning??!!

2. Mclaren seem to be walking backwards (at least from Australia form). One day they looked good enough to be up there, then the other (possibly on Race set-up) looking kinda frustrating from both the set-up and reliability point of view.... Now, could it be that they are missing an experienced driver or is 07's rock-solid reliability gone?

3. Toyota, BMW and Williams seem neutral... let's say no idea what their true pace is, but unless they deliver then maybe Renault could break the line-up.

4. Force India are showing encouraging form! WTF??!! Looking forward to Sat/Sun to see what they are able to show

5. Renault seem to have improved as well. Seems like Fernando and Piquet are getting more confortable in the car, and that the upgrades are working. Expectations? too early to say; because Mclaren, BMW and Toyota can certainly be stronger than they have shown....

Sat will be really exciting :)

I was really supprised at how well the Force India's were running. But its only practice and you can never get good predictions from them, so we'll have to wait and find out in qualifying.

Yesterday was a real mixed bag I think which really did not give any clues of where everyone is really sitting, except maybe Ferrari.
Today will be a better indication I am sure & for the sake of a good race I hope no team is too dominant, even the red team.

You are by far the coolest Ferrari fan.

well, well, well (with the biggest :) ) ...I am not at all surprise to see all the FA and renault haters so quite. Second and third during practise???!!!! let me think of a good excuse for LH and company...er...umph..."we are doing a different set up, bla bla bla, bla bla, bla"

I will stop here because the race is still to come and I might have to eat my own words...but to quote Brian from Family Guy "Yeah, f**kwah, I told you so".

Who hates on Renault and FA?? I think FA is a cool guy, except when he bad-mouths his teams and others.

you and i think exactly alike. but mainly mclaren and LH fans think that they have been hard done by Alonso. I also hate when he bad mouths and he should not really be talking about ferrari and next year. Think about now Alonso.

So far that sounds like great news for Ferrari and bad news for McLaren, just like it should be. Hopefully the end result is reflective of this. Too bad the qualifying appears to be going to be around the same time as the Chelsea Vs Man U game today. I want to see the football game and hopefully Chelsea wins............................ and after that hopefully I will find Ferrari qualifying strong and a stuff up from McLaren, especially Lewis Hamlton. :D

Thats what I first said when I heard him saying that, especially since there has only been 3 races so far. I guess we do think alike! :)

It is only prac and it really doesnt tell anyone much, i think the reason why renault are so fast is because its alonsos home race and he wants to look good and to make it seem like they are on the pace.

BMW and Mclaren are close and proberly doing race setup, I still think Mclaren are on the pace.

Well I support Lewis and he drives for McLaren so maybe Im one of the people you're talking about.
Renault hater?-not at all, nothing against them whatsoever. Not keen on Flavio but Renault are fine.
FA hater? I actually supported him at the end of 2006 in his fight against Schumacher when my man(Montoya) had left. I have the hoody and vest top(check out my avatar!) as proof. However I will not support him again after his behaviour last year and if I were running an F1 team I would not want him near it. I dont hate the man, thats ridiculous and he still drives well but I have no respect for him.
Talking of hate you seem to have a healthy dislike of Hamilton
