Have we even acknowledged the fact Lewis did ALL he did yesterday with a broken front wing? Ok, it wasnt massive, and they adjusted the front wing in his first pits to counter it - but still. Worth a mention.

Ah, wonder if that's why he was told to keep the revs high.

And, the gears low? I remember asking you that in the chat...
but, what exactly does that all mean?

Staying in a lower gear for longer means to use higher revs before changing up. Whether that has an effect on the fuel pressure or makes a difference to the fuel being injected or something else, I don't know.

i think this causes less ers harvesting/deployment. Its not very efficient as the efficiency torque rev peak is lower down but ultimately yields a better power/torque (more for less) ratio

if that makes any sense

Why does lewis have to be british, the country will be going crazy if he wins. BUT, at least it wont be like Andy Murray, who is s@!% at tennis but is still treated like the best in the world.
