however the confidence come from knowing that Lewis is the fastest (ergo bravest) driver, and that 1 item there is the only variable that WILL make a difference over time.
as long as he is the fastest man on the grid I am happy, if he is no longer the fastest man then I would be happy for the fastest guy, everything else that happens is part of the unpredictability of F1
hopefully roth is taking notes here about how the HDL is made up of different factions

Merc don't seem to be playing much of a team game anymore. It was an interesting call, and one which is likely to form the basis for plenty of debate over the next 4 weeks until Spa. DC immediately called it out as unfair on the BBC commentary, as Nico wasn't exactly all over the back of Hamilton's car at the time.

but, what exactly does that all mean?
stonemonkey wrote:Yep. Bonnington also said "fuel is no longer an issue, keep gears low and just go for it" when Lewis was behind Alonso.Nin-Chin wrote:Paddy Lowe said Lewis had a fuel pressure issue with his car during the race apparently, according to F1.com quotes.Ah, wonder if that's why he was told to keep the revs high.
