You'd probably be surpised at how few 10-year-old display sportsmanship-like behaviour!
They are so overwhelmed by the win-at-all-cost attitude society has today that they feel
dejected and demoralized if they don't win.
Seeing their "idols" is one way of them understanding that there has to be respect amongst
and between competitors.
Just saying...
After the agony of defeat, success will be sweet!
...The other side of the coin is, I don't so mind competitors not shaking hands…I don't put much stock in that. I didn't mind when Senna and Prost didn't shake hands either. It's nice but it doesn't do much for me. It's great when you're teaching little 10 year olds about sportsmanship but these drivers are gladiators going at each other. Let em do their thing. (But that's just me though…)
