I do enjoy being challenged BUT I do not enjoy McLaren winning. If the challenge were from say BMW, then by all means I do not want Ferrari getting any outside help if it mean the difference between winning and losing. But against McLaren if it is the only way to stop them from getting a title then help is welcome. McLaren this year is still the only challenger to Ferrari, even though BMW are showing signs. I do not want Max Mosley to go just yet as he might still be needed. Based on this reasoning Fren, I am not embarresed at all. :D

Wouldn't be a sweeter victory if Ferrari won against Mclaren on a level playing field? Then Ferrari would truly be champions, better, winners, etc..Otherwise Mclaren fans will always retort with the comment that they were disadvantaged. I don't want RD to have an excuse as to why he lost. You wouldn't like the see Mclaren win if they cheated some how, wouldn't you?

There is a reason as to why last year Mclaren were not WCC. If they were truly innocent they would have appealed again and again, until they could no longer appeal, then appeal again.

Oh silly boy - that's what you get for not READING other people's posts. I like many things British or Irish. Just for starters, I've mentioned, e.g. Guinness, Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe, Lenox Lewis, Eddie Irvine, Beamish, Ross Brawn, Richard Dawkins, Spitting Image, Monty Pythons, Eddie Izzard, Mr. Bean, many, many British actors and singers such as Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, The Cure, The Police, The Sisters of Mercy - oh, c'mon, I give up, too many to list.

haha You didnt have DC on your list... i thought you loved cubehead?? :P

Seems that they'll bring anyone in to vote against Max.

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/1304_mosley.shtml

SHAMED F1 boss Max Mosley could be excommunicated from the sport following his depraved Nazi orgy...by the Pope.
Incredibly, the Vatican is a member of motor sport's world governing body—the FIA—which will decide 67-year-old Mosley's fate.

And Pope Benedict XVI's representative, Cardinal Renato Martino, will be there to cast his vote.

The News of the World broke the story that Mosley, son of British fascist leader Sir Oswald, was filmed romping with five hookers at a depraved Nazi-style orgy in a torture dungeon.

The FIA's no-confidence vote in Paris on June 3 could be of some embarrassment to the Pope.

He was born Joseph Ratzinger in Bavaria, Germany, and was in the Hitler Youth before fighting for his country in World War II.

Cardinal Martino, who is Italian, was one of the cardinals who elected the Pope in 2005.

He caused controversy the following year when he pleaded for clemency for Saddam Hussein after the Iraqi dictator was sentenced to death for his war crimes.

Here is Montoya's stance.

Mosley was 'just having fun' – Montoya
Former Grand Prix winner Juan Pablo Montoya says he was 'so shocked,' by the Max Mosley umpalumpa scandal, but stops short of joining the widespread condemnation of the FIA President.

"I was so shocked by it, when they sent (the video) to me, I was like 'no way.' Now, I'm just like 'Hey, he's just an old guy trying to have some fun,'" the Colombian told the Associated Press.

The former race winner for McLaren and Williams, who switched to the NASCAR series a couple of years ago, is one of very few contemporary drivers who have commented openly on the affair.
Montoya, 32, gives a less solemn appraisal than some figures in recent days.
"I loved that. I did," he said, laughing, when asked about Mosley's reported romp with five prostitutes.
"It is a laughing matter! You know, when I first heard about it, it was shocking. But then he decided to play it like nothing has happened and it's just so hilarious."
Montoya did not want to say if he thought Mosley, 67, should resign.
"I do have an opinion on it, but I am not going to say it, and I am glad I am not there," he added.

Hey racechick! You still loooove your chubby idol?

Yep still lurve him :D Can you not see what he is saying? The hilarity he feels is that after the exposure, Mosley plays it like nothing happens and guess what ..so far he's getting away with it!! Thats what he finds hilarious. Note also that he says he's glad he's out of it-he hated the politics. Note also that he DOES have an opinion but declines to state it. Mosleys arm is long and Juan sees him playing the systen for all its worth, he's not risking his carreer.

The UAE motorsport governing body has expressed support for Mosely and called for him to remain as Fuhrer of FIA. This is a country that imposes fines for organisations and employees of organisations engaged in human trafficking. Fines for gods sake. The worry for me is that the money states and organisations may begin to trickle in support for Max as we get nearer to the hearing.
Write/email your local/national governing body expressing your views regarding Mosely, at least you'l have made some kind of stand. NZ has already stated it's opinion but I see the UK has decided on silence for now. Whats the Italian, American, South American stance?

America have condemned him. Brazil i believe are supporting him. UK not commenting (they want to keep Silverstone and will lose it if they speak out against him). Germany and Japan have condemned. The worry is that all the tiny African countries and other small countries have the same vote as the big motor racing countries and he will be frantically lobbying them for support and promising them GP's and finance packages etc, I mean the vatican for God's sake!(no pun intended)

Read between the lines? I shouldn't have to. Plus, he's not even in F1 anymore...

I was saying that to indicate that he could afford to be more frank - he's not an up and coming driver, he's washed up and doesn't need the dough anymore.

Alonso doesnt need the dough. Kimi doesnt need the dough. Thats and irrelevant point!! But Montoya like his drive and wants to continue. Nascar I believe still come under the FIA? Laughing at the situation makes Montoya's point very succinctly....Mosley is a laughing stock!
