True; but, Clooney has the "serious" look that Mattiaci seems to have!!

Here's hoping he has a bucket-load more braincells and better decision-making skills than this square-jaw :hehe:

Luca copped quite a lot of criticism for publicly offering an opinion that the sound of F1 in 2014 wasn't good and needed to be improved. Interesting that in a recently published interview with Autospint Niki Lauda has gone on record agreeing with Luca.
Niki Lauda in Autosprint wrote:"Unfortunately, as a result of the new rules, the noise of the new engines is rather unattractive. But it's a logical thing, because a 6 cylinders will not ever the same noise of an 8 or 12 cylinders. And if you put a turbo on, which is what you need for hybrid devices, then you have even less noise. Fans always associated the word noise at speed. When I was 14 years old, on my first moped, the first thing I did was remove the silencer. Even if the change actually made me go even more plan, I was all happy because I seemed to get stronger. I understand the speeches and Ecclestone needs: we cannot have a Fps that makes more noise of f. 1. We have to work on, there are technical solutions to do that, we have agreed to solve the problem."
I wonder if the same people will slam Niki :hehe: Leaving that aside, it actually is a really good thing that he has both confirmed the problem and committed to a solution. Best news on regulations I've read in 2014 :D

Unfortunately some day we'll run out of fossil fuels and cars will be powered with hydrogen or electricity, and then we'll reminence about the wonderful sound of the V6 Turbo era.
