Thought we should move this from the team threads, as team discussions don't include factual discussions only stylised and idealised and romantic musings that won't upset 'fans'
It's actually extremely worrying how unintelligent and reactive Ferrari are over and over
Whenever RBR want something done they present it to Ferrari and Ferrari take the bait and jump in with their 'special status heritage veto' and they seem happy to cut their own noses just to shake things up. A bit like button jumping in the pits to change tyre automatically whenever overtaken by his teammate
Except they have become a laughing stock an a perfect example of corporate buffoonery
Bernie says 'they are not very bright'
Alonso says 'they should be more clever'
They pay Kimi to leave, then pay him to come back
They demand an engine formula then say they are not competitive making engines
The only title they have won for ages was taken from another team and given to them
They got RBR the tyres they wanted
They hire and sack engineers instead of any planning or strategy
And yet we have to be dictated to by Ferrari and it's fans what's good for the sport?
It is sour grapes on the part of Ferrari and Red Bull, we see this time and time again in F1; and frankly it's tiresome! The truth is that if Renault or Ferrari were so far ahead like Mercedes are currently, I'd be willing to bet that Mercedes would be pushing for change or trying to get the (split turbo system, as used by Mercedes) design banned!
When has Mercedes whined or whinged like losers about anything and demanded rule changes? They have no history in regards to requests like this so your claim is unsubstantiated, on the other hand Ferrari are the perennial whiners while now they have the drinks company for support. Only the drinks company is smarter in actually benefiting from unfair rule changes while the perennial whiners just get even more f**ked after succeeding in the lobbying department.
