I hate English football. I look at the fans and everyone is sat down with their flasks and replica shirts. Then you look at the fans abroad. So much colour, noise passion. I was watching Argentine football highlights at summat stupid like 4am this morning, and I just spent all the time looking at the crowd, the banners the colour, thousands of people bouncing up and down... Just looked amazing. Then in England you see the souless all seated stadiums where working class fans are priced out...football in this country is now so far away from the majority of the fans it makes you wonder why you bother.
There's a few team trying to do things differently in England, and York City is one of them. I'm part of an ultras group there. I understand the negative connotations that go with ultras especially abroad, but we try to keep away from some of the hooligan themes that plague the game abroad.
