Its truly scary how thick people lap up simple concepts and close their minds to anything that might contradict their hard earned 'learning'
For years we have had Brundle conditioning everyone that Lewis is bad with his tyres and Jenson is good with his. Despite evidence from Pirelli and the team, despite races that showed the opposite, despite races that Lewis used as a masterclass of tyre management, despite Jenson demonstrating conclusively that he conserves tyres only at the cost of using them or driving fast, even today some still say Lewis cannot (not willnot) conserve tyres or drive a stalking races.
And now with Nico, despite us seeing last year how he is almost as fast and that the difference came with Nico flaking in Q3 a few times and going missing in a few races. Still the new thing is that Nico has an advantage as he is more cerebral. But where does this cerebral brainpower get you on track beyond making a choice of a few options constructred and preprogrammed by engineers if you make mistakes at the crucial points or lose the back end when on the limit?
So saving fuel is the new technical frontline? Some drivers can save fuel by doing what? driving a certain way, or driving in 2 or 3 ways. And only clever drivers can learn how to do these ways

Only cerebral technical drivers can change gear at a certain point?, or can wait a second between lifting and hitting the brakes? Or only cerebral drivers can change their driving style or change engine mode when advised by the engineer
Its embarrassing that ex drivers who were too thick to even win races are now smart enough to pass disinformation to the thickos out there who wouldnt understand the difference beween technical and analytical if it crawled up their arses and died
