All interesting stuff. However these are facts. Not stats. This is a stats thread.

Just a side note.

I found Sagi's posts interesting.

I never stated they were not interesting. I thought they were too - especially the hand painted Toro Rosso.

I was just merely pointing out the technical error in Sagi's post.

I have not read the thread in its entirety so excuse the repetition if this has been posted, and they aren't stats either so the anal stat Nazis may pounce:

Nigel Mansell won the first and the last 3.5 litre race.

Gerhard Berger's first and last wins were also Benetton's first and last wins,

the first using the BMW M12, a 4 pot turbo that is reputedly to date the most powerful F1 engine ever made(supposedly 1400 HP in Q trim, but they used BAR calculations as it was then impossible to accurately measure HP over 999). Berger's and Benetton's first win was BMW's last win until their V10 brought Ralf home first in the Williams at Imola in 2001.

Heres another

Mag is first rookie to qualify better than 5th since Lewis
Both rookies partnering WDC teammates
Both giving the seat by Ron over a more experienced driver
Ron beamed with delight when both rookies looked good from the start
The last rookie caused the WDC to leave the team
The WDC turned on the team and became vindictive :yikes:
