When it comes to LH....it is not that difficult. What happen to Alonso last year at Mclaren was not nice, so this crash was almost poetic justice.

Don't make me laugh.

i couldnt care who you go for but youre regurgitating Alonso's sob story about unfairness its sickening im "like yeah whatever" about the whole bullpoo aswell mate!

No Bud, I'm not parroting Alonso's line, I'm speaking from observation.

8-Ball, I'm not sure what you're getting at. Having two experienced drivers, one a dependable old hand and the other a hot shot driving as well as or better than anyone else on the grid is a fairly desirable situation. Yes, once Rubens goes it will be an idea to bring in a rookie to carry Jenson's water on the way to replacing him once he leaves whilst Jens is busy fighting for WDCs, but hastening Barrichello's departure? I don't see the point. It's fine for RB to do 2009 and even 2010, and then they should bring in a rookie like Senna

Alonso was not liked by his team in the 2nd half of the season i think he had himself to blame for that, whinging and carrying on, even growing a beard to piss top brass off... how pathetic is that?!
ontop of all his other antics he was like a spoiled kid not getting his own way and all it boiled down to was he wanted number 1 status he couldnt handle Lewis was on equal par with him....

Couldn't agree with you more here, Alonso was a sulk off track. And the way Alonso told is "sob story" was also not very impressive. HOWEVER, the treatment that RD gave LH was disgusting and their behaviour far less impressive than FA. In one race last year RD said that "we were racing Alonso". FA was suppose to be your driver, not your enemy.

Yes, bud, FA could not take that LH was equal, if not better. After Bahrain last year, LH was ahead of FA in points, and probably RD decided there and then that they are going to try and get LH to win the WDC. So FA spat the dummy. A better man would do his talking on the track and not off track but FA is not that man. I still prefer FA on track between the time the five red lights go off and the chequered flag. After seeing MS win so many times with Ferrari it was great to see someone else beat him and not in a Williams or Mclaren, but a lowly Renault. Twice.

I agree that Ron Dennis should not have said that, but by that stage Alonso basically was McLaren's enemy: he tried to blackmail Dennis, annoy the team's management by growing a beard, untrue remarks in the media, was almost certainly leaving McLaren at the end of the season, was up to his neck in the spy scandal, tried to bribe the team's staff with a measly £700 each, etc. I'm not saying that Ron Dennis was completely innocent, nor Hamilton, both had a part to play, but Alonso's behaviour was pathetic, based to a large extent on the fact he was being matched (and maybe bettered) by a rookie.

Your theory of McLaren wanting Alonso not to win the title is incorrect. Alonso was given the priority strategy to win the Monaco Grand Prix (remember Hamilton's sob story after that?), was allowed to win his home Grand Prix (although this didn't work out, but he was given priority for that Grand Prix nonetheless), and he was allowed to finish the season with McLaren after all that happened, when he was really lucky he was not fired (Mercedes wanted him sacked).

Yes, I shouldn't said probably RD decided that (because I do remember Monaco)...I should have said that that was what every single ITV commentator and person being interviewed was saying at the time....The British media really wanted a British driver to win the WDC.

yeah true just like the Spanish press really wanted a Spanish driver to win the WDC for the 3rd year running

i would have loved Fa to have won last year, would have really got to ron then!

ps, i hate the haamilton bumming media!

Then keep your hate to the media and dont confuse the media with lewis!
Presumably you cant remember Mansel mania and Hill hysteria?

i remember hill, just, it was the very first time i sort of watched f1, but no real interest then

its too hard, they go on about him all the time, i cant help but be influenced a little

It's natural for this kind of overexposure, especilly since it's unjustifiable, to breed resentment.

And let's be realistic here, Lewis is no saint.

youre right he is an evil evil man who has no talent what are the British press doing?

i mean the Spanish press are not concentrating on Alonso nor are the Italian press concentrating on Ferrari

even Australian press is all about Webber... see a similarity here?

I like the sarcasm.....but if LH is not the evil man of the top contenders, then who is it?

Kimi is cold and all he wants is to race. Kubica is a gentleman, surprisingly. Massa is replacing Rubens as the new second fiddler. Heidfeld is more than capable of wining WDC. Heikki is going to destroy LH's great masterplan of eventually being the first driver in Mclaren.

Lewis is no saint (that wouldnt work in F1  ) Neither is he evil
He is a young lad who has done extemely well early in his F1 carreer and for that reson some people get pissed off. The press has got overexcited(as they did with Mansell and Hill and as foreign papers do with their drivers or teams) and the annoyance people feel for the press they transfer to Lewis. Non of the drivers are "evil", though I can think of one at least whose spotsmanship and interpersonal skills are sadly lacking ( this person is not a championship contender this year  )

hehe...you mean Alonso. Even with what happen at Hungary last year, I think FA has slightly (but only slightly) better sportsmanship than LH both on and off track. FA is definitely faster, but FA will comeback to wining ways, if not with Renault, then Jean Todt is now out of the way, so....I mean, if you can beat the greatest driver ever, Schumacher, then you have to have something special.

Meanwhile, just like last year, while everyone just concentrates on the battle between FA vs LH, Kimi just walks away with the championship.
