Oooo my nails...Oooo cold.....Oooo too stiff...Oooo won't fit. :hehe:

We are still talking about putting chains on the wheels right... haha

It's painful seeing girls try and fail to do things that guys normally do.

Looks like you are having a great time RC, but what the hell is Buddha Bar Music??? Btw .... still freakin' cold here, but I go out anyway. Up to 27 ski days, with another 6+ weeks to go. :wavey:

Yeah I don't know what buddha bar music was either. Just assumed it was music that Buddhists listen to lol

Don't think so .... if it was I would probably know.

Oh I get what you two mean .... it's "New Age Disco" or mellow "House" music for those on 'ludes instead of E. :nono:

I kindov like that last one, it's got Mt Blanc in the background. I like the deserted look of it.

Wow. Some amazing pics .... was that a Yeti I saw RC??? Will you be teaching Lewis to ski, after you rescue him from Nicole?

I certainly don't have the backdrop of the Alps, but I did have a good day today. It was #29 for me, and I spent the morning at the North end of the resort skiing double black diamonds. I don't usually ski the super steeps, but today with the sun out and the snow bullet-proof I was inspired. Everyone needs a little excitement now and then ... right. :wavey:

Interesting day today. I spent the morning riding lifts with the female members of "The National Ski Academy", a junior development team and education program leading to the National Team. Of course I couldn't actually ski with them, (they were doing GS training and I was free-skiing) but I did get to talk to them about their skiing and school etc. They ski mornings, have school in the afternoon and tutors at night, so they don't have to choose between racing and education. Best part ..... they spend September and October in Davos, Switzerland, so they can train on the glaciers. What a nice bunch of kids!

Later, I met freestyle skiing legend Sarah Burke's uncle on the lift. He saw the "Remember Sarah" decal on my helmet and introduced himself. Kind of strange talking to an actual family member of someone I have so much respect for.

When I wasn't meeting people on the lift, I did have a great day on the snow as well. It was cold (about -20C), but the snow was great. All in all a great day. :wavey:

That's amazing Operaman! And you beat me hands down regarding days spent on the slopes. I'm up to ...eight I think? Today it snowed all day....so fickle is weather here. So we stayed in and played board games all day! Only venturing out for a fresh air walk in the snow before dinner, very windswept, But nowhere near your temperatures, relatively warm really, especially when walking in the deep snow.

Hopefully we will ski tomorrow....last day before friends go back to Blighty :-( one more friend out next week.

I might beat you in days, but you've got me covered in outstanding lunches. Somehow your adventures in the Alps sound much more exciting than coming back to my condo for a pasta lunch. Of course if my gf is visiting ........... !!!! :)

RC and Operaman want to have a change of scenery? I'll trade your deep snow with deep rain/water!

No thanks. South Georgian Bay is Heaven On Earth and I'm sure RC feels the same about the Alps. I'd say we are both happy to be where we are. :wavey:
