Well. I arrived on Wednesday to glorious sunshine and had lunch on the balcony. Very warm and not a lot of snow in evidence, springlike.
Thursday( shopping day) it pilfered with snow all day and was raining down in the valley.
Friday morning woken up by a snow plough at about 5.30 am, it had snowed through the night. bear in mind this is a tiny farming hamlet right up a mountain and my chalet is at the end of a dead end lane. And a snow plough is there before I even wake up!
it's only a baby snow plough, but nevertheless, if this was the UK schools would be closed, trains not running and chaos on the roads.
Today the weather is glorious, might suss out the slopes after dinner. Here's some pics I took this morning from
The balcony.
