Samantha Lamb wants kidney back from cheating husbandDevon, England – Samantha Lamb met her husband ten years ago when they both worked as private ambulance drivers. Their work relationship turned romantic and they eventually married in 2007. By the year 2009, he was suffering from renal (kidney) failure and required dialysis thrice weekly in order to survive.
It turns out Samantha was a kidney match and did what any loving spouse would do and that is donate one of her kidneys to her husband. He was actually reluctant to accept the donation because in part there are health risks to both donor and recipient. Samantha insisted and ultimately prevailed upon him that same year.
Regrettably, one summer day in August 2012, she returned home from her job at the local Tesco grocery story to find the stereo and TV missing along with husband’s clothes. He left without so much as a whoopsy daisy.
Now, Samantha Lamb is the spurned lover and hates him. If should could do the whole thing over again she would have the kidney back or at least have given it to someone worthier than her ex-husband.
Mum-of-one Samantha, 41, told the Sunday People: “I can’t believe he now has a second chance to live to see his grandchildren grow up.
“I would definitely go through the operation again – but I wouldn’t give the kidney to him.
“I hate him. If I could I’d take it back and give it someone else.
“Obviously I don’t want people to be put off putting their names on the organ donor list.
“But all I want from him is his name on the divorce papers.”
She claims he left her for her friend, but he denies any extramarital affair. They just weren’t good for each other he claims.
