If parties where more transparent would that make you want to vote for them?

This would deter my thinking greatly.

For the last general election, there were so many practices of fraud by the ruling government (a mysterious blackout occurred when the opposition was running away with it and these trucks were seen arriving with more ballot boxes unaccounted for) foreigners given identification cards and citizenships (with DEADLINES lol) on condition that they vote for the ruling gov. Even with all this, the ruling gov managed to lose popularity votes and retained their power only through number of seating.

Right after elections, we have increase in prices of fuel (this is a fuel exporting country), food items, land taxes in certain areas...pathetic. But they've somehow managed to unify the country in hating them, which is in a way a good thing I guess.

We Swiss vote 3-4 times a year about all kinds of things (initiatives, laws, referenda, major financial projects, etc.) - the joys of direct democracy. Then of course the elections every 4 years. And then all the voting here in the States. I'm quite busy with all that...

that is quite often, can it be done online?

They're piloting online voting - I haven't been able yet to use the system though. Hope it'll be fully implemented within a year or so.

I don't vote for the sole reason of I'm not interested in politics and in general they always want the best for the country so therefore I'll leave it up to those of whom are interested.

I read the other day something along the line that less than 1% of the British voters are millionaires, were as just under 80% of MP's are.
