Locks can be picked yet we still all just use a lock to secure our front door. Because it can be cracked, doesn't mean it will be. GSM networks have been shown to be vulnerable, yet we still all makes cell phone class without thinking twice.
If someone is really security conscious they're going to layer their security defenses and most enterprises use either 8 character pass codes or 6 character pass codes that require a number and a special character to unlock a device. You can guess someone's passcode by looking at the fingerprint smudges on the screen. You can do the same with the unlock swipe pattern.
My guess is that most companies will go with a dual factor authentication using both the fingerprint scan and a passcode.

It wasn't a fake finger though, it was a very simple backdoor bug.
it's a samsung galaxy ace and it feels so smooth and nice in my hand. It's 8.50 a month and the phone came free it doesn't work yet but it will later today. I'm very excited! I wanted an iPhone but was strongly pressured not to get one so I've got this. I must admit it's immediately synced with all my contacts in my email, my iPad won't do that . So for the first time ever I think I have contacts all in one place. Can't wait to use it. AND I think I can get on this forum with it

What you want to do is when the phone is unlocked swipe your finger from the very top of the screen down. It will bring up a power menu. What you need to do is select wifi. Normally it is at the top very left hand side.(it should turn green) You then need to look for one that says mobile data. That one you want to deselect (so the icon turns light blue)
Remember you will have to set your wifi up with your pass code etc.

my mind is a bit blown by the colour turning thing. I have got wifi working with the pass code. What I want the phone to do is always use wifi if it's available, but when I'm out the house( or any place that uses wifi) it works like a phone and I can still go online. But I've been told to turn off the g thing abroad because it's expensive. When I'm in a wifi place I want the phone to know to use wifi. Do you get what I mean? See our F1 related articles too!
