Hmmmmm. How many championships does Kimi have? And Eddie?

He is just saying he calls people when drunk; the only person he's having a go at really is Lewis Ham.... Ohhhhhh
#385025
And how many championships is it again that Eddie has. And Lewis?:rofl::rofl:

I still dont see what that has to do with anything? Because he doesnt have a WDC, he isnt allowed to comment when he is asked by a paper, during an interview?

Maybe if thats the case, we should all stop commenting and discussing - as I dont recall any of us having a hand in winning any WDCs....?

To be fair to this guy, he's always been an outspoken "I say whatever I think" kinda guy. What he said about Lewis ranks as quite a sincere opinion to me, since it's easy to say Lewis lost the plot due to showbiz and what not...especially if you don't follow Lewis' performance closely.

As DC once said, ar$eholes are like opinions...everyone's got 1.

You know what, you're right. What does it matter how many championships these 'media spokespeople' have won. Stewart and Lauda have multiple championships...does that give them the right to shout their mouths off at current drivers? Well I don't think so. They're not in the current drivers position, know little about driving a current F1 car, and I for one have no interest in their views on Kimi, Lewis or Seb. Yes, we muse on here endlessly about the drivers, but we're not heard worldwide, we give our passionate views to each other, on this website.

And why pick on Lewis in particular? Well I have a few answers on that one but I don't give a damn. When he wins next year they can all suck on whatever!

Funny thing is all these ex driver commentators and LH detractors, have been talking crap for a while and all that time he has been maneuvering himself into possibly the best situation a driver can find himself in - comparable to MS at Ferrari.

What ever happened at McLaren, they let him down, he became a rapper blah blah blah, is irrelevant because, despite that he is now in the position that actually makes the last few years worthwhile.

And the best the detractors can come up with now is what happened before, no more mention about his making the wrong move, in fact no mention of his potential at Merc or the possible future

Clinging on to irrelevant things from the past is a good sign. No one is saying his mind is in wrong place for next year, or that he has affected his future prospects.

Theres gonna be a lot of pain next year as Lewis does what he has always done, but in the best setup so far :hooli-popcorn:

Look who gets paid the most Eddie, The team principles know who the best drivers are and the ones that give it all.

Cheap attempt to gain some publicity for himself

I just look back to 12 months ago when nearly everyone was questioning Lewis' mind by choosing to leave McLaren (fastest car at the time) to join Mercedes who had just finished a distant 5th. The one person who knew what he was doing was Lewis, similar to Schumacher (when he went to Ferrari) he left McLaren to rebuild Mercedes into championship winners (although it probably isnt probably as much as a rebuild as Ferrari needed), and like Schumacher he took a key person with him in Paddy Lowe.

I personally believe that if, as we are led to believe Mercedes have the dominant car he only has to beat Rosberg, and while that will be tough, Lewis has more experience at championship battles, and has the experience of winning and narrowly losing championships.

The only weakness for me is that Mercedes have lost Ross Brawn, but they still have more than enough know-how to win the championship.

But we ain't saying it all over the world, were sayin it on our little forum. Differences. Differences.
