To be fair to this guy, he's always been an outspoken "I say whatever I think" kinda guy. What he said about Lewis ranks as quite a sincere opinion to me, since it's easy to say Lewis lost the plot due to showbiz and what not...especially if you don't follow Lewis' performance closely.
As DC once said, ar$eholes are like opinions...everyone's got 1.
I still dont see what that has to do with anything? Because he doesnt have a WDC, he isnt allowed to comment when he is asked by a paper, during an interview?
Maybe if thats the case, we should all stop commenting and discussing - as I dont recall any of us having a hand in winning any WDCs....?
I just look back to 12 months ago when nearly everyone was questioning Lewis' mind by choosing to leave McLaren (fastest car at the time) to join Mercedes who had just finished a distant 5th. The one person who knew what he was doing was Lewis, similar to Schumacher (when he went to Ferrari) he left McLaren to rebuild Mercedes into championship winners (although it probably isnt probably as much as a rebuild as Ferrari needed), and like Schumacher he took a key person with him in Paddy Lowe.
I personally believe that if, as we are led to believe Mercedes have the dominant car he only has to beat Rosberg, and while that will be tough, Lewis has more experience at championship battles, and has the experience of winning and narrowly losing championships.
The only weakness for me is that Mercedes have lost Ross Brawn, but they still have more than enough know-how to win the championship.
