- 16 Dec 13, 20:33#384554I don't think it's all doom and gloom with the new partnership at Lotus. Grosjean has finally tamed his inconsistency and matured into a very very good racer. If they can follow the same process with Maldonado and sort out his psychology and impulsive behaviour, which I believe they can, then he IS naturally a very quick driver given the right equipment. Race wins like his at Spain don't happen by accident.
Certainly not the finished product by ANY stretch of the imagination, but it DOES have the potential to become a race winning combination in time.
