watched it,

imo i think its alot more entertaining as a spectacle than f1, (not 1 million appendages)
plus i can relate to it better as they aate just modified refined road cars in essence

what your opinion on it?

[Sam-KK24]

Great series, lots of action and not alot of politics!

Yeah love it, I go to a couple of races a year.

Touring cars is great, it was more or less the second Motorsport I got into, and even Murray used to do commentary for it when they used to show it on Grandstand.

I remember being at Silverstone watching the Touring Car race after the 1994 British Grand Prix and there was a big pile up at the first corner which took out drivers like John Cleland, the race was a duel between Gabriele Tarquini in the Alfa Romeo and "Smokin' Jo" Joachim Winkelhock in the BMW. Was a good race too.

i like it that they take huges risks to win, doesnt happen in f1

jason plato is ace

The BTCC is fab It's always got plenty of drama, particularly when they try and barge each other off the track. Also, the animosity between Plato and Neal is fantastic - I love the thinly veiled sarky, barbed comments they both make about each other in post-race interviews.

Haven't watched it for years but used to really love it when it was on Grandstand.

Couple of questions:

Where can I watch it now?

and

Do they still race at Croft? I might go, it ain't too far from me.
