You're wrong (ouch I bet that hurt). Absolutely 100% wrong on when the deal was brockered. It was definately done last season beforw Heiki was on the scene. I cant be so sure on exactly how it was worded but I know it involved winning something over the next three years-last year being the first of those thre years. I have dug around but all I can find are a couple of forum posts saying pretty much what i said.

No it does not hurt. My wife always tell's me I am wrong. Not to mention the McLaren fans

Racechick I am not saying what your telling me is not true but I only have an opinion on what I see & not what someone tells me.
But if your 100% Absoulutely sure I am sure it won't be to hard for you to find something.

But don’t look to hard because you know I am not that gullible to believe everything is 100% above board at McLaren

Irrespective of when the deal was done, if it were all things equal at McLaren that offer should have been extended to HK when he joined.

It wasn't, I garantee you Heiki knows he will be LH's rear gunner this season...

DeMuRe, you really have got to stop presenting your opinion as it were a fact. It isn't.

Rubbish! You misunderstand the situation. Why should a private deal be extended to a third party?

Didn't you once lecture me on reading between the lines?

During the whole McCheaters ordeal you plasted your 'reading between the lines' logic in a vain attempt to justify McLaren's actions and proclaim they are being treated unfairly by the FIA.

Did you not see the interview with Heikki and Lewis at the start of the season on ITV? Heikki is Lewis' rear gunner, it's plain to see...

Oh OK, let's ignore the technical dossier that was given to McLaren last year, because it was 'private'....

Was. Now it's public domain. And kinda embarrassing for them because it feeds right into their perceived hypocrisy about equal treatment, equal status and so on of their drivers.

I see it as a verbal agreement/contract between two individual's before the third party, HK, was even a consideration or in the picture so honestly what's all the fuss about, am I missing something I dont think so?

Your right I think he is rear - side - above - below - infact any which way gunner.

Ron's Golden Child.
But its only my opinion, but it holds as much water as yours thats for sure.
