Instead of day, I found one the year I was born. Yeah, the 80s and 90s were way better.

We were discussing this at work on Friday so when it came to me I thought 1983 so something like Frankie Goes to Hollywood or Depeche Mode or something cool. Words cannot express my disappointment at Culture Club!

The US no. 1 when I was born was Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton's version of Islands in the Stream so both the UK and US no. 1's were terrible for me as well. If I'd have been born 4 days earlier it would have been Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler.
