Mine from last year(before the fuss  ) doesnt have McLaren on it. Like 8ball said it doesnt need it everyone knows its McLaren.

actually its on the collar inside, but its like the car, you only have Mclaren written on the nose cone in small print we all know its McLaren right.....
and its the team shirt the drivers and crew have been wearing it since the start of last year so why is it being brought up now akr :P anything to do with Ferrari's performance in Melbourne?

Maybe it was the stupid 40 degree heat. I refused to go to the race and only went to the qualifying which at least was only 30 degrees. (The day before) I would of fainted if I were there on race day. Maybe that is why Ferraris blew engines. Too hot in stupid Melbourne. I am sure you being from Adelaide will at least agree with me on that stupid Melbourne part. *LOL*

Oh and I really must point out that only F1 fans will know it is McLaren. Ask anyone else off the street and they will say Mercedes-Benz. (They wont even know McLaren exists and you all know this). Oh well you must really look on the bright side. Mercedes is the future of the Woking team. McLaren and Ron Dennis will soon enough be in a F1 museum. :D

In my view its a bit like Marlboro sponsorship on the Ferraris. You don't need to read the writing to know what it means!

Excuses, excuses, excuses. It is all futile anyway. Fact is even the common person can work out the Marlbaro colours in a Ferrari (or on any other thing if it is on them) that it is Marlboro because the whole world virtually knows what a Marlboro cigarette is. Outside the world of F1, hardly no one knows what a McLaren is but they all know Mercedes. Now think of it like this. Pretend I know nothing about F1, I see someone wearing that McLaren top and I think, that guy is wearing a Mercedes-Benz shirt. :) And that is all I will see and think. It is ok because the reality is that is all it will eventually be. Its just a slow transition to prepare for the inevitable change. :D

Peolpe completely disinterestedin cars wouldnt know or care what the shirt represented but anyone with any car knowledge know Mercedes and McLaren go together. It is not neccessary to state the obvious-understatement is more chic and more powerful.

You are completely full of BS sometimes. Seems Bud was right about your hatred for McL being stronger than your love for Fiat. Why bother posting hatred at every opportunity?

McLarens never been a big self promotor, only last year was the first year you could buy official team gear that the team wears. no slow transition going on girly. its all about exposure for sponsors and its like the McLarens livery, you only see McLaren in small print on the nose cone below the Mercedes logo.

I don't see 'hatred' in this her post...
And it's probably pretty close to reality to say that outside F1, especially outside Europe, McLaren is not known as a household name unlike Mercedes (Janis Joplin anybody?) or Ferrari (Sonny Crockett in Miami Vice, e.g.).

Thanks DD. Appreciated.

I am at a loss here. This post wasn't about me not liking McLaren. It was just a matter of opinion based on an official McLaren merchandise or that T-Shirt. That is all and nothing more. I'm sorry for those who like to think I am some stupid uneducated arrogant women but it is actually the other way around, well at least when it comes to education and intelligence. Based on observation and knowlege this is what that T-shirt leads me to conclude. McLaren can put whatever they want on their merchandise and I find it rather strange that no where does it say McLaren, apart from that little logo on the back. Really I don't see Ferrari shirts with FIAT written all over it and a tiny little prouncing horse on the back of the collar now do I? Get my drift or are all you McLaren supporters just gona scream out Kiki hates McLaren more than she loves Ferrari? By the way Bud didn't make that up, it was McLaren Fan. :) and that is a fact or is anyone going to say that is BS as well just because they like saying that everything I say is BS. *LOL*
