If you're getting that much back you're doing something wrong with your W4. The ideal is to have a zero sum come tax time. Otherwise you just let the government use 9000 of your dollars for a year interest free!

Forget that when you're a homeowner and landlady - the deductions are amazing and my W4 is already at the minimum, so no way around a refund.

You're right... I'd have to make a deduction to become a 'landlady'. :D

I can give you a hand with that

Last year, I had zero income so there was no W4 for me; my wife claims '0' on her W4; to avoid owing at the end of the year, I'm using my mother in laws CPA to deal with my business interests; I want to make sure that everything is right there, not taking the risk of self accounting. I already have a bunch of tax write-offs for my business, including the new PC, all the fees associated with my business, domain names, hosting, internet connection, and misc other things!

You have been 'Americanized' well.

That Chimay Red last night was like drinking silk. Very smooth and paired well with food. Had a hint of caramel/yeast aroma to it and more of an alcohol content than the run of the mill brew. Those Belgian trappist monks did a good job with this one. Highly recommended.

Nice, what's the %?

The IPA isn't quite as travelled, the brewery is across the road from me.

Then you're a lucky man, having to only cross the road for a good brew. It's 7%.

That was one of my favorite films as a kid

It's one of those films that you always make time to watch whenever it's on.

Alistair Maclean wrote the novel at the same time as the screenplay so there is very little difference between the two.

I don't think I've ever seen it. Please don't hate me.

Finally went to bed at 8-9am (whenever it was) following that BS quali session. But not to worry. Nicely rested now for a night of great sport - just watched Derby County win on Sky Sports 2, then MOTD at about 10:30pm, qualifying at 12am, then UFC 158, which nicely fills the gap between quali and the race. Gonna take a trip out to stock up on alcohol and snacks now!

The sample rooms are a bit further away though. 7%, pretty strong for a beer especially if it goes down smooth.
