Read the post above and the conversation is usually easy to follow. I was once on a forum where quoting the post above was discouraged and the mod's actually altered posts to avoid unnecessary massive quote trails. Quite a good idea really.

It's easy to edit out the irrelevant portions of the quote so they don't get out of control. Personal preference, I guess and we do the same at times especially when someone quotes the previous post that included a dozen images with a smiley.

There's to be a motorsport site where the like/dislike function had a flaw. You could keep voting a post up or down for as long as you were willing to hold down the return key on the keyboard. It was fixed since everyone was playing silly beggers.

Yeah, and once someone reaches a certain number of 'dislikes', it's an automatic ban for a week.

The purple looks ridiculous on the red bull. Their livery was already too busy with blue, red, and yellow; now it just looks like a 7-year-old painted it.
