- 01 Feb 13, 17:55#344454The Ferrari is definitely the most interesting launch spec car so far, lots of interesting little features to it, most of which spanky mentioned. The rear wing slats are indeed to diffuse the air outwards and create lower pressures, for more downforce. I find the front wing pylons a neat little modification, that extra area at the front will help channel air more nicely - i wonder how the hell they found the loophole for that part, it's a bit bizarre really. The nose itself is quite extreme too - very thin when you consider that they have the modesty panel in place.
It sure looks advanced compared to other cars so far, but we'll see what changes at testing. Looks can be deceiving mind you... i didn't think last year's McLaren looked too special then it was the quickest car on the grid!
