Lotus doesn't look 'quick' to me for some reason....but what do I know. I'll wait for a few other launches before being sure.

They need to ditch that horrible red ASAP, it's making the car unsightly. I can live with the noses, but the red is just yuck.

Lotus needs to do something like this with Kimi for a car launch. Would be hard to beat it.

Lots of new stuff will be on the car at the first test, absolutely no doubt. That launch front wing was even older spec than that of the final races of last season. The rear wing was also last season spec. The suspension looks similar, but i don't see why they'd need massive updates to that when their tyre wear was perhaps the best last season along with Williams. The only notable changes on this new car are at the front of the sidepods and the most obvious Red Bull style exhaust area. Supposedly the exhaust gains were an area that Lotus lagged behind on last season, so this could be a good update for the car in terms of pace relative to the cars around them. I am hopeful that Lotus can achieve their 3rd position intention this season.

For the livery, some of the red just seems utterly random (ie, where it is on the front wing) to me which is the bad aspect of it. It was ok last season. If i could be arsed i'd photoshop the gold parts all to red, just for the hell of seeing what it'd look like black with all red.

Looking at the pictures, I disagree with the negative comments about the red. I like it! IMO, it's a pretty cool looking car and livery.

I hope it does well this season.

I like the livery.

As far as the guesses and the besting last year's results etc, I think the tires are looking to once again give us a very diverse first part of the season just like last year. Nothing wrong with that.

I have my fingers crossed for Lotus. I like their drivers and it's a team I respect. Hopefully, testing will be good for them.
