I use less than 5000 Litres a year

How do you keep track of how much gas you use in a year? Is this a ballpark or are you actually keeping records?

Hmmm just noticed... the 'black' series SLS, would Mercedes be so bold? :hehe:

Does it come with the stick on tinted windows with the bubbles in it?

Rumours are in the air that Paddy Lowe is following Lewis to Mercedes. Quite a biggy if its true!

Its laughable that so many people were eager to equate Mercs future with its recent team building past.

Here is the company that invented the motorcar as we know it today, already dominated motor racing Whilst Ferrari were using Alfa Romeo engines. They left F1 not because they are fickle but because of a horrific incident involving the death of spectators.

They have been back 3 years and have done what Red Bull did in the years leading up to their dominant run - spent top dollar for top staff

They have committed to the sport for the near future, have a brand AMG that thirsts for racing pedigree to allow its road cars to stand by Ferraris in the show room. They have an abundance of experience engineers and managers, they have restructured and invested in aero facilities to put them on a level playing field with the leaders. They have the fastest and most expensive driver going

Yet the armchair experts confidently predict that LH has made a stupid move and that Merc cannot possibly do a RBR, not because they dont have the funds or the expertise or the engines, but because the last 3 years has seen them do poorly.

So if this is true about poaching McLarens remaining top top guy, will the experts declare that Paddy Lowe has also made a stupid move or is that reserved just for LH?

like I said on here before McLaren are going down, and Merc are going up

Williams lose Wolfe to Merc, and McLaren gain Sam Michaels from Williams
McLaren lose LH to Merc, and gain Perez from Sauber
McLaren lose (apparently) Paddy Lowe to Merc and gain who? Gary Anderson from the BBc

Sorry stone monkey but the fact you think Honda developed the superaguri says it all, they used the previous model Honda there was not a similar setup as Redbull Torro Rosso have.
You think it's hard to imagine that a homolgated engine that requires certain weight and size to meet the homolgation thus making all the engines similar thus not too difficult to fit hard to believe yet believe in some Honda/Brawn/Merc conspiracy which has no logic to it is beyond me!
Mercedes before 2009 never supplied engines to more than one team, to which one became 40% theirs. So no they weren't in the business as engine supplier at that time.

The fact remains Brawns edge was aero the big fuss about the DD Diffuser was the main reason for their speed, not the donk in the back!

So if Paddy Lowe really is leaving, it leaves Mclaren without a technical director right at the start of the season and the preceding season to big changes.
Paddy always did speak highly of Lewis. Looks like they might be reunited :D

I'd wait for more concrete than the evidence supplied before getting too excited.

Would be massive if it actually happens. And yeah, I remember Lowe talking about Lewis being 'the fastest driver in F1 without a doubt' when Lewis was confirmed for Merc.

I await news in some anticipation
