I wish the f1 could be on its own channel with practice , qualifying , the race , replays of old races testing etc. or at least go back to the BBC .what do you think.

p.s i have put a poll up and i hope i have put this in the right section.

I'm happy with SpeedTV.

My current F1 coverage consists of SPEED and online sources, which works geat during a race weekend. But I dont think SPEED has ever broadcast any testing or additional F1 events. Much unlike a certain other motorsport that gets unbelievable coverage. If there was a F1 channel I would subscribe.

I'm quite happy with it being on ITV. Because if they had their own channel, it'd be on Sky and, more than likely, part of the Sky Sports package. Therefore, I wouldn't be able to watch it. :(

i think bernie and his money should put it on freeview aswell as sky and virgin etc.
he should give something back to the fans.

BBC, hands down. No adverts, simple. Whilst the idea of F1 having its own channel is a pretty cool idea it would be like the previous F1 channel, F1 Digital +. A PPV service which showed every session from every weekend all season during the 2002 season. I ordered it once and it was not to bad but at a stupid price of £12 per weekend.

Because Bernie is in charge of the money :P

You can get the practice and qualifying sessions from that site that Sam gave me a link to. But it may take time to download. Some people upload some practice sessions on Youtube, though. :)

Either BBC or its own channel. Don't mind which.

BBC all the way. Uninterupted races are the only way forward, plus it would be available too all rather than having to subscribe. For the record I wouldn't subscribe.

BBC. You would get to the see the races uninterrupted, making the race more enjoyable and provide longer pre-Grand Prix build-ups, and would be free. Eurosport and Sky would mean you have to pay for an inferior service: Eurosport's commentators are boring and their analysis non-existent, Sky's would not be a lot better, and you would face the annoyance of breaks.

Formula One could have its own channel, but only if showed some past Grands Prix and testing footage. Having a Grand Prix every other week would not be enough to justify a channel, for stuff would just get repeated constantly. If a channel were to be formed, I would still like to see Formula One on terrestrial television.

Overall, I am happy to see the race for free. If I want to watch it again I will have it taped, and anything the channel fails to cover, I could read up about online.

If it were on it's own channel, I suspect you'd have to pay. I won't subscribe to TV channels therefore I'd like to see it on the BBC because it would be free and there would be no ads :)

That would be better than having to endure Monster Truck's and demolition derby's here in the US on SPEED TV  ! I agree though that they would have alot of extra airtime to fill but hey they could fill in with showing past GP's as you mentioned. It's basically a pipe dream though  .

I think that F1 should get it's own channel, only problem being is that it isn't exactly on 24 hours a day, so yeah, as you said, show some past races and maybe get a few Formula 1 documentaries, and i'd watch it :).
