They were blinking in sector 2, then just before the hill, there was green (i.e., all previous flags are out of the way), and up the hill it was solid yellow.
The Sky footage clearly shows both lights within view not blinking.
FIA gave alonso a chance by penalising Hulkenberg that wasn't deserved. Vettel did well to stay close considering his lap 1 incident. I thought it was over then. Both Vettel and Webber had stints in the back but both finished near the front. Are the top 3 teams really that much farther ahead of the field that they can start from the back and finish in the top 6 or so?

I think far too big a deal being made of it, but, the simple fact is, when he overtook, the relevant light (located right at that point) was straight in front of him and was blinking yellow. Nothing will change, accept the fact and move on.
