If his time was on the same tyres as others around him where did the pace go for Q3?

bud wrote:If his time was on the same tyres as others around him where did the pace go for Q3?Strictly hypothetical bud... here's a question because I've yet to hear any McLaren fan actually say it. Do you think McLaren made a mistake letting Lewis walk?
What's Burning? wrote: If Lewis was 8 tenths ahead of Button today... what if he would have been able to do the same thing with the Mercedes. What if Lewis is able to get that same time gap when he's their driver next year?I said it before, but some might not have read it. Rosberg in a car supposedly miles apart from McLaren has 1 win to Jensons 2, and is closer to Jenson (WC table) than Jenson should rightfully be to Lewis based on performance this year.
I think belittling Mercedes will come back and bit a lot of people in the @ss long rung, maybe even nip them in the @ss short run as well. It remains to be seen, but apparently all McLaren fans have already made up their mind.

I think the constant McLaren belittling will bite Lewis fans in all honesty. So you've already given up on Mclarens 'Snr Driver' and putting your faith into a driver who's 16 points ahead of another who doesn't have a drive in 2013. Things are looking up for 2013.

But what do you Lewis sooks sorry fans care about McLaren next year? I thought Mercs going to build a title winning monster....
