Even I my friend hold a bitterness toward's the FIA's action's last season and for their ongoing ignorance. It would just be really nice if the McLaren fan's on this forum accept the truth no matterr how jaded it may seem. No self respecting team want's to win a championship the way Ferrari won the WCC, that's not sporting, but what's done is done and we should just move on  .

How many times? I've long moved on. What happened will never be forgotten by me, but I'm really looking forward to 2008 and having a good laugh as McLaren give the FIA the two fingers on the track.

McLaren lamb, of you saying they won the '07 WCC? That was my whole point bro!

I didnt say they won the con title i said they scored the most points and earned those points on track, Ferrari won the title in the court room.
and no team except Ferrari would accept the title that way, afterall they pushed the FIA to do exactly what they did against McLaren key note being they didnt push the FIA when Toyota had intellectual property of theirs. im sure they would have if Toyota were challenging them in the title race...

Oh and the term McLaren lamb doesnt make sense!!! you see the phrase Ferrari lamb exists due to the large in fact extra large amount of dimwit bandwagon followers you see at every GP wearing ferrari gear, compare that to the amount wearing McLaren and you got a ratio of about 20-1. they follow the heard

McLaren had scored the most WCC point's on the track up until their exclusion after that any point's accrude are only for your peace of mind.
and no team except Ferrari would accept the title that way

Your kidding yourself my friend if you actually believe that.

Your explanation of being a 'lamb' is once again a onesided outlook and just another cheap shot at Ferrari, not that I expected any less from you.

Enough is enough so let's just say "we agree to disagree" ok? :)

Anyway back on topic McLaren should thank their McLucky star's for their good fortune in acquireing the 5th pit stall. So it now seem's we have Max kissing Ferrari's arse and Bernie kissing McLaren's, finally an even playing field  !

Even if McLaren hadn't been excluded from the WCC, Ferrari still beat them by a point. And no, I don't think we can really see it as Bernie kissing McLaren's arse. It's Bernie filling his pockets a bit more...

That's very true but Bernie most likely was handed the cash during a 'reach around' !

I think, Gregg, you're the one in denial. Everybody knows Ferrari have unfair advantages over the other teams and that they have no shame in taking victories whatever way they come.

Mclaren should not be in the 5th Garage, however if they have not asked for it and it has been offered should they say "No" it is unethical to accept it. I dont think so, I am sure if I was Ron and I was offered it then I would accept the promotion up the pits. Just to keep the sponsors happy. Afterall Sponsors = Money = Faster/More Developed car = GP wins = WDC/WMC

FIA Sporting Regulations

According to Article 23 1 b of the FIA sporting regualtions 2008 "The FIA will designate an area in the pit lane where each team may work and one places where pit stops may be carried out."

It mentions nothing regarding placement depending upon the previous years WCC.

Under the FIA rules this is a legal move for them to take however objectionable(sp)

So it is basically a gentleman's agreement then.

No, I would have to say it's hopelessly optimistic to assume Ferrari is the only team who would accept that victory. Maybe the FIA does have Ferrari leanings, but Ferrari is not the only team who would accept that kind of victory. Ron Dennis's McLaren would too for a start and you know it.
