It wouldn't work, look at the sizes of the top teams, hundreds of people working for two drivers, not just engineers but it staff and admin and HR etc. Now it's just not financially viable to have all this for one driver, one chance at a wdc, don't first the logistical cost and the cost of owning or hiring a building; and by the end of it all you've got no money left for R&D. Which would mean ALL drivers on the grid would be pay drivers.

Thats a RUBBISH idea- there would only be 12 drivers on the grid. The races would be dull(er than when Vettel wins).
