Just denying it doesn't make it true. It was just one of those things - s*** happens.

I think Alonso himself has performed the correct analysis: http://www.sportinglife.com/formula1/ne ... -raikkonen

If Alonso told me the sky was blue I'd have to either ask for a 2nd opinion or go outside and check.

So what was Raikkonen meant to do? Levitate, vapourise, hope for a passing spaceship to beam him up?

It was a racing incident in field that got bunched.

Braking is not unheard of in F1 y'know.

So by Andrew's reasoning, should Webber have moved over for Grosjean too??

Anyways... it was a very close call and very slight contact, just unfortunate that it burst the tire. But Kimi should have avoided imminent contact considering he was the one eh... behind?

If you could think a bit, this incident might remind you of Grosjean and Schumacher in Monaco. Grosjean moved over till Schumacher made contact with the wall and spun Grosjean out, that was a popular incident which made Grosjean...very unpopular.

Only this time, since there are no walls and it involved Lord Alonso, everyone's like 'ok racing incident' which is understandable since he f*cked over himself so there was not much need to care about.

Thing is, Raikkonen did try to avoid it, he put two wheels on the grass before clearly breaking, The Almighty God Alonso moved across thinking that Raikonnen was far enough back but he very slightly misjudged it and caught the front wing of the Lotus.

Grojean however, seems to forget that other people exist at the start of a race, or forgets that people will be slower at the start of a race than 10 laps in, or forgets to look around, or forgets to break, or forgets how to drive or all of the above.

I thought he was going to be equal to Rosberg at Mercedes? Guess Brawn has lost the plot too?

If Brawn honstly believes that then they won't win much either. I'm sure he doesn't though as MS didn't win his seven world championships by being the "equal driver". :D

All this talk of equal drivers is just to soothe fragile egos. Lewis is faster than just about everyone on the grid.
If another driver can't cope with that, so what.

Apart from Vettle, and Alonso and sometimes Button?

And Alonso is number 1 at Ferrari and Seb is number one at Red Bull, yet at McLaren Lewis must put up with bloody Button and his bullsheet.
Lewis should have been number 1 at McLaren, but no, Button had to believe that he's on the same level as Alonso, Seb and Lewis.

He isn't and never will be, but if McLaren are happy never winning a championship then great.

So a driver who is 20 seconds ahead and got a chance of gaining a place should pull over for their team mate who is slower and there will be no gain to the team in terms of points?

The worst thing about it all...... is that somehow "they" keep trying to find the logic around this. Holy goodness. One must only laugh.

I'm afraid it's how they roll in the south west of Scotland. It's comes from being close to Glasgow. :hehe:

I'm not just talking about today.

It will be the same next year with Perez. Button will start acting like a child again, whenever he's beaten imo.

I'm not convinced. In fact no one I know is convinced.

Careful Lemon,

:shtstorm:

Why is it no one can say anything bad about Lewis or THE SPANISH MASTER ALONSO without having thermo-nuclear war thrown directly in their eye? When we can mock Perez or Hulkenburg to our content and noone gives a crap. I say we ban bias people, but that's my bias opinion.
